It's currently Halloween in Ally's New Life!
You can check out the in game event annually
from October 10th to October 31st!
Note: You must unlock the second route to see the new Halloween content, also
keep your expectations mild as this is only a fun interaction than necessarily anything noteworthy.

The event is also available in the Windows version as well!
New Game Update
If you saw my earlier blog post, I mentioned that the final version of Ally's New Life has been halted for a smaller game that should come out this month. Progress on it has been steady, if rough, and I've already made some drastic decisions to try and cut down content as I really do not want this game to take more than a year to make.
With that said, I am more confident to speak about what is guaranteed to be coming.
The new game is An Eye For An Eye With Dr.Rictor Mortis. The premise is that you're a necromancer opossum, Rictor Mortis, as you go through an arcade loop gameplay assembling a monster with your magic, the gameplay inspired by the Object Editor from Scribblenauts Unlimited!

The main gameplay idea is to balance creating and destroying iterations of the monster (the latter done by reaching the bar limit) to progress to higher rounds and earn higher scores. You only win a run if you finish your monster, so it is a gamble on what you take to accomplish that.
This will feature random events during your runs, alongside minor boosts and abilities to help keep your run going and have more control over your RNG.
This will also support leaderboards on Newgrounds and will have achievements as well.
As for release date, like I said, I wanna get it done by Halloween, but if you can tell by reused assets from Ally and the overall still unpolished presentation, it's very likely it could take a good bit longer even with this scaled down scope. At the very least, it'll be a tradition of having very seasonal dependent content release on its opposite if this comes out during Christmas/New Years lol.
But I will try to get it done by Halloween, if not a week after. But don't hold your breath on that either.
Until then, I hope you check out Ally as said earlier, and will check out Eye For An Eye when it releases!
